Hi, I’m Yari!

 

I’ve been painting since 2014—but how did it all start? Funny enough, I first got inspired after watching someone do a not-so-great job at face painting. I remember thinking, I could do so much better! What started as curiosity quickly became one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. Face painting has filled my cup, brought me joy, and completely changed my life for the better.

 

I come from a creative family—my mom painted murals, and I always admired the way she brought colors to life. At the time, I didn’t realize art would become my passion too, but that spark she lit in me eventually grew into what I do today.

 

A little about me: I was born in Mexico City and moved to the U.S. with my parents in 1999. Adjusting at a young age wasn’t easy, but it shaped me and gave me a deep appreciation for new opportunities. I’m also a proud cat mom to Andy (my only son!) and the oldest of four siblings.

 

Outside of painting, I love going for long walks, hitting the gym, and of course, cuddling with Andy. Painting has been more than just a hobby—it’s been therapy, growth, and the foundation of who I am and who I’m becoming.
